LEXINGTON, Kent. - Dickinson volleyball senior middle-hitter Emma Lange has made history as the first player to receive Honorable Mention All-American honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association as announced by the organization this week.
The Jupiter, Florida native made her final season in Devils uniform a memorable one racking up a team-high 226 kills, averaging 2.90 per set to go along with 74 blocks and 34 aces. She earned her second All-Centennial Conference honor with a First Team selection after posting the top hitting percentage in the conference in the regular season with a .338 which was also good for 15th-nationally. Lange had 12 double-digit kill games, with a season-high 20 coming against DeSales University at the Stevenson University Invitational. She leaves Carlisle ranking fifth in blocks with 209 and ninth in kills at 676 in just three seasons (2020-21 lost to COVID).
