Lange Earns All-Tournament Team Honors After 3-1 Start

(Gettysburg, Pa.) – The Dickinson volleyball team improved to 3-1 on the season, splitting a pair of matches at the Battlefield Classic on Saturday.

The Red Devils started off the day with a 3-1 setback to Elizabethtown but rebounded to sweep Gallaudet University 3-0 in the nightcap.

Dickinson had a strong showing against the Blue Jays. After dropping the first set (25-20) they answered to take the second (25-21) to pull even.

Elizabethtown came out strong to claim the third set, 25-12, before the Devils put up a fight in the fourth, falling 25-22.

The Red Devils finished the weekend with a 3-0 win over the Bison. They were consistent throughout the match, posting scores of (25-17, 25-15, 25-18).

Sophomore Emma Lange (Jupiter, Fla./Benjamin) had a great weekend as well, earning All-Tournament Team honors.

Individual statistics are still being compiled for the matches and will be added when available.

The Red Devils host their home opener next Saturday, hosting Alvernia University at 1:00 pm.
