NEW ORLEANS - The Dickinson women's track and field team had seven members named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region team as announced by the organization this week. Senior Elaina Clancy, sophomores Darya Mikusova, Mariana Penuela, Sara Penuela, Emerlee Simons, and first-years Sarayne Forbes and Jordan Schucker each earned spots on the team.
The All-Region honorees come from the Top-5 individuals in each event from each region, while the members of a Top-3 ranked relay team are also selected.
Clancy ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region for the 10,000m with a time of 37:50.81 during the Centennial Conference Championships (5/6/22).
Forbes posted a distance of 40.61m (133' 3") at the Blue Jay Tune-Up (4/29/22) which left her fourth in the region.
Mikusova was the best in the Mid-Atlantic for the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.63 while running at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships (5/26/22).
Schucker tossed the javelin 40.52m (132' 11") during the Swarthmore FQ Meet (5/16/22) which ranked her fourth.
The 4x400m relay team of Mikusova, the Penuela sisters, and Simons put up a time of 3:57.61 at the Centennial Conference Championships (5/6/22) for a second-place ranking.
