Women's Track and Field Places Seven on All-Conference Team

LANCASTER, Pa. - After a solid season and a second-place finish at the Centennial Conference Championships the Dickinson women's track and field team had seven athletes named to the All-Centennial Conference Team as announced by the league office on Tuesday. 

Elaina Clancy was selected to the Second Team after a second-place finish in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 37:50.81.

Sarayne Forbes garnered Honorable Mention recognition thanks to a third-place result during the discus with a toss of 33.51m.  

Darya Mikusova claimed a pair of individual honors landing on First Team in the 400m hurdles posting a winning race time of 1:03.77, while earning a place in the Second Team for the 100m hurdles with a mark of 16.34.

Mariana Penuela also received two Honorable Mentions in the 100m (3rd - 12.93) and 200m (3rd - 26.17).   

Her sister Sara Penuela earned Second Team honors for the 200m after placing second in the conference championships with a time of 25.86, while being named Honorable Mention in the long jump after a distance of 5.05m. 

Jordan Schucker was the final Devil to garner an individual honor as she was named to the Second Team thanks to a toss of 38.98m in the javelin. 

Dickinson also got recognition for their relay teams as the same group of Emerlee Simons, Mikusova, and the Penuela sisters landed on the Second Team in both the 4x100m (49.17) and 4x400m (3:57.61).
