Women's T&F Earns Multiple All-Conference Honors

(CARLISLE, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's outdoor track & field team was well represented on the 2021 All-Centennial Conference Team, announced on Wednesday.

First-year Sara Penuela Rodriguez (Summit, N.J./Summit) had a great championship, earning First-team honors in the 200 and 400 meters, and with the 4x400 relay. She added Second-team honors with the 4x100 relay and honorable mention in the long jump.

Mariana Penuela Rodriguez (Summit, N.J./Summit) captured the 100 meters and ran with the 4x400 relay to earn First-team honors, adding Second team in the 4x100 relay and the 200 meters.

First-year Emerlee Simons (Princeton, N.J./Stuart Country Day of the Sacred Heart) also earned First-team recognition with the 4x400 relay, Second team with the 4x100 and honorable mention in the 400 meters.

Senior Isabel Cardi (Media, Pa./Strath Haven) broke the championship meet record, winning the 5000 meters to earn First-team while junior Elaina Clancy (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) crossed the line first in the 10,000 meters.

First-year Darya Mikusova (Niantic, Conn./East Lyme) had a great start as well, earning First-team honors in the 400-meter hurdles and with the 4x400 relay. She garnered Second-team honors with the 4x100 relay and honorable mention in the 100-meter hurdles.

Classmate Abby Everett (Palmerton, Pa./Palmerton Area) claimed gold in the discus.

Senior Sarah Yanega (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) received honorable mention in the 800 meters while Maddie Gidman (Willington, Conn./Edwin O. Smith) finished third in the triple jump.

Junior Alexandra Colby (Hingham, Mass./Hingham) was name to the All-Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team.

The Red Devils had some outstanding performances, leading the Red Devils to second in the team standings.
