BRYN MAWR, Pa. - The Dickinson women's tennis team got back to their winning ways on Saturday afternoon with a convincing 9-0 Centennial Conference win over the host Bryn Mawr College Owls at the Bryn Mawr Tennis Courts.
Doubles (DEVILS 3-0)
The top DC pair of Martine Fierro and Ariana Goitz limited their opponents to just one game as they knocked off Wynn Bryant and Kelly Cole 8-1. Lexi Epstein and her partner Dana Kleinman had to fight a little harder, but still earned an 8-4 victory over Lowrey West and Lilly Pfister. The biggest triumph came at third doubles where Anabelle Armendarez and Izzy Desjardins posted a shutout of Mary Rose Gilliand and Megan Omolo winning 8-0.
Singles (DEVILS 6-0)
The matchup at the sixth slot featuring Desjardins and Omolo was completely one-sided as Desjardins won 6-0, 6-0. Kleinman picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win at number five, while Fierro in the top spot was victorious 6-2, 6-0. Goitz and Armendarez each allowed their opponent to win four games but claimed 6-2, 6-2, and 6-3, 6-1 wins respectively. In second singles Epstein earned a 6-3 win in the first, before dropping the second 6-0. However, that did not deter her as she stormed back to grab a 10-3 win in the tiebreak.
