LANCASTER, Pa. - Junior Sarah Caron of the Dickinson women's swimming team has been named All-Centennial Conference honorable mention as named by the league office on Thursday morning.
Caron, a native of Chestertown, Maryland, earned the honor after placing second in the 100-yard backstroke at the Centennial Conference championships last weekend with a time of 57.83. That mark was just five-tenths of a second off her own school record from 2019. She was just edged out for the first team slot in that discipline after Swarthmore's Erin Szuromi earned the victory in 57.66. Caron had a very strong conference meet as she was a part of four different relay teams as well as picking up a Top-5 finish in the 200-yard backstroke taking fourth after clocking in at 2:08.81.
Sophomore Sophie Laclef was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team as Dickinson's representative.
