Women’s Squash Falls Twice on Sunday

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Dickinson women's squash team fought hard all day but fell twice on Sunday. In the early match, they dropped a 9-0 decision to the University of Pennsylvania, and then came up short against Drexel University by the same score.

Amna Fayyaz was the only Red Devil to win any games in the match as she grabbed a 2-1 lead at the No. 1 spot against Jamila Tamer, before losing the final two to drop a hard-fought 3-2 decision.

This match belonged to Drexel from the word go as they took each event by 3-0 scores. The Devils were limited to single points in every game with the exception of the third game of the fourth flight when O'Connor pushed her opponent all the way coming up just short at 12-10.
