LANCASTER, Pa. - Dickinson women's soccer junior forward Meg Tate was named Centennial Conference Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
Tate, a native of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, accumulated eight points on the week to keep the 21st-ranked Red Devils unbeaten and match their best start to a season since 2014 at 7-0-0. In Wednesday's non-conference game on the road against Arcadia, she assisted on goals by Emma Cooney and Sophia Elguera in a 2-0 win. Then on Saturday, she netted a hat-trick in the opening 21 minutes of the match, leading Dickinson to a 4-1 Centennial Conference victory over Ursinus. Tate currently is tied for the conference lead in points (15) and tied for second in goals scored (6).
