CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson women's golf team shot a combined score of 377 to finish fifth at the Dickinson Spring Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course. Prior to the start of the festivities, the Red and White honored their lone senior Himeno Yamane for her contributions to the program.
Mia Henry was the highest finishing Devil in the event as she fired an 88 to finish tied for eighth on the 5827-yard par 72 course. Yamane gave a good account of herself in her last tournament at the Barracks posting a 93 to land in 14th by herself. Making her return to the lineup was Charlotte Hancox shooting a 95 finishing tied for 16th with Gabby Smalley out of Arcadia University. Jillian Graff was the final member of the Red and White to count in the team score with a 101, while Olivia Chae added a 106.
Marymount University picked up the team title with a very solid 369, followed by Franklin & Marshall (370), Gettysburg (373), Arcadia (376), Dickinson (377), Ursinus (383), and Carbrini (429). The individual winner was Gettysburg's Caroline Kurtt who finished tied with Marymount's Hunter Gillis on 79. However, she was awarded the victory by virtue of the tiebreaker procedure where the back nine scores from the two golfers were compared against one another. Kurtt carded a 38, while Gillis fired a 40.

Dickinson heads to Honeybrook Golf Club in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania for the two-day Centennial Conference Championship on Saturday and Sunday.
