Kremp and Montgomery Land On Second Team

LANCASTER, Pa. - Dickinson women's basketball senior Jennifer Kremp and junior Kate Montgomery have been named Second Team All-Centennial Conference as announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.

Kremp, a native of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania made her final season in Carlisle a good one as she led the Red and White in scoring at 10.8 points per game while chipping in 3.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest. She had a dozen double-digit scoring games, including a pair of 20-plus point performances against Ursinus (January 11)  and Bryn Mawr (February 19). Her 23 points against the Owls on senior day were a career-high. This season Kremp wrote herself into the Dickinson record books by attempting the third-most three-pointers in a season (179) and making the fourth most (54).

Montgomery, a native of Scituate, Massachusetts was tops on the team in rebounding hauling in 6.8 per game to go along with 10.2 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.0 steals. She recorded double-digits in 15 games, breaking the 20-point mark on November 17th at home against Susquehanna netting 21. In addition, she notched five double-doubles on the campaign bringing down a season-high 15 boards, while scoring 17 points in a 47-44 win over Muhlenberg on February 10th.  

The Red Devils qualified for the Centennial Conference postseason after posting a mark of 14-10 overall and 13-7 in the conference. Dickinson closed the season extremely strong winning nine of their final 11 games and will look to carry that momentum over to the 2022-23 campaign.
