All Players Score as Devils Beat Owls

BRYN MAWR, Pa. - All 12 players found the scoresheet for the Dickinson women's basketball team on Tuesday night as the Red Devils rolled past the host Bryn Mawr College Owls by a score of 77-24 in a Centennial Conference matchup. 

The two sides traded baskets early as Kate Montgomery and Sydney Collins scored for their respective sides. However, after that point, it was all Dickinson as the Red and White embarked on an astonishing 29-3 rampage to take a 31-5 lead after ten minutes. Jennifer Kremp accounted for the first five, before Caitlin Blackman, Lindsey Hollenshead, Abby John, Clair Marion, and Jenna Weinstein all scored for the visitors. 

The second period was owned by DC as they held the Owls scoreless outpacing them 16-0. Blackman began the scoring, prior to Mia Kolb joining in the fun at which point made it 35-5. Ella Smith picked up her first points of the game at the 3:51 mark, followed by Gabby Sevrain converting a pull-up jumper to extend it to 41-5. John and Marion would add late baskets to push the advantage to 47-5 at halftime.

Gina Neigel worked her way onto the scoresheet early in the third, but then Hallie Kern would respond with a triple for the home team. Kremp and Neigel combined for nine of the ensuing eleven points between the teams extending the margin to 60-10. Indatou Ali-Goukoye and Weinstein netted the final seven for Dickinson taking the game to the fourth at 67-14. 

Dickinson began the final stanza with a 6-2 run on buckets from Hollenshead, Marion, and Sevrain to make it 73-16. Bryn Mawr answered back with six of the next eight coming from Sonja Meijer and Aliya Stubenbord. Ella Kotsen and Weinstein wrapped up the scoring for the respective sides to set the 77-24 final.

Next on the Court

Dickinson (10-10, 9-7 Centennial) will return home on Thursday night at 6 p.m. to battle the Mules on Muhlenberg College. The Mules (9-11, 5-10 Centennial) are coming off a 65-36 loss at Haverford on Tuesday night.

Previous Meeting

Muhlenberg used a huge first quarter back on February 2nd outscoring the Red and White 17-6 en route to a 66-59 win at Memorial Hall in Allentown. Kremp led the Devils with 13, while Montgomery chipped in 10.
