LANCASTER, Pa. - Two members of the Dickinson softball team have been named All-Centennial Conference as first-year infielder Celia Vinacco was chosen to the First Team, while junior pitcher Riley Kuehn earned a Second Team selection as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Kuehn made 22 starts during her 29 appearances where she posted an 8-11 record with a 3.51 earned run average. Her 107 strikeouts was the high-water mark for the conference, while her 6.48 strikeouts per seven innings ranked her fourth in the Centennial. The Bethesda, Maryland native hurled four complete games going 2-2 and firing 32 strikeouts. Her best day in the circle came on April 26th during a conference doubleheader with rival Franklin and Marshall she pitched seven innings in game one allowing just one hit and fanning 11 during a 4-0 win. Then, in game two she went 5.1 innings with just one hit and two more K's as the Red and White picked up a 3-1 victory.
Vinacco, played in 35 of the 37 games for the Devils hitting .280 to go along with a .312 on-base percentage, and a .331 slugging percentage. She recorded 33 total hits, including four doubles and one triple with nine RBIs and five walks. Out in the field, she had a .926 fielding percentage with 50 putouts and 26 assists. Vinacco posted nine multi-hit games and one multi-RBI contest. From April 5th to April 12 she had one of her best stretches of the season going 9-18 (.500) with five runs scored and a walk.
