De Caprio Named All-Conference Honorable Mention

LANCASTER, Pa. - After a solid season Dickinson men's tennis sophomore Romano De Caprio has received Honorable Mention as a singles player during the release of the All-Centennial Conference Teams on Friday morning.

The native of Darien, Connecticut won the most singles matches for the Red and White posting a record of 9-4 participating at four different spots in the lineup during the course of the campaign. His lone match at the top slot came on April 25th when he downed Max Schneider from Cabrini University 6-1, 6-2. He took part in two matches while playing at second singles going 2-0 with victories over Wilkes University's Nathanial Rathe (7-5, 6-2) and the University of Scranton's Patrick O'Mara (6-1, 6-1). De Caprio was not afraid of having to go the distance either as he went 3-1 in matches that went three sets. His longest win streak of the season was five from March 16th (Colby-Sawyer College) to April 6th (Gettysburg).
