Bears Rally Past Red Devils 5-4

(COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's tennis team dropped a heartbreaker at Ursinus, falling 5-4 on Saturday.

The Red Devils led 2-1 after doubles, taking the first and second flights. The Bears rallied to claim four singles matches for the win.

Joey Bolanos (San Salvador, El Salvador/Escuela Americans) and Romano De Caprio (Darien, Conn./Darien) captured top doubles, 8-6, while Leonid Sorkin (St. Petersburg, Russia/U. of Nebraska H.S.) and Andrew Lai (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater) survived the second, 8-7 (8-6).

Sorkin added another win in the top singles flight while De Caprio captured the fourth flight.

The Red Devils slip to 0-4 on the season. They return home to face Franklin & Marshall next Saturday at 12:00 pm.
