LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson men's swimming team gave a strong effort on night one of the Centennial Conference Championships at the Kunkel Aquatic Center on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College.
In the men's first event of the night the 200-yard medley relay the team of Daulton Kendall, Cooper Kocon, Cameron McConagha, and Reid Schattgen earned a sixth-place finish with a time of 1:36.06 in the "A" final. The champion of the event was the host Franklin & Marshall who clocked in at 1:30.00 to set the meet record. During the "B" final the group of Nolan Chenot, Frederico Colloca-Bianchi, Alex Kanard, and Justin Wong posted a mark of 1:37.71.
The Red and White team of Logan Cort, Daniel Vasquez, Kendall, and Schattgen took fifth in the 800-yard by touching the wall in 7:04.76. The host Diplomats won their second event of the evening with a time of 6:41.25. Aidan Keillor, Chenot, Kanard, and Wong put up a time of 7:19.18 during the "B" final.
After night one Dickinson sits in fifth place with 72 points. The Ursinus College Bears hold down fourth on 76 points, while F&M leads the way with a solid 116.

The Devils return to action tomorrow morning beginning at 10 a.m. for the start of day two at the Centennial Conference championships at the Kunkel Aquatic Center.
