(Annville, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback at Lebanon Valley on Saturday afternoon.
The Dutchmen struck just before halftime on a 20-yard strike from Zach Reed with just 2:35 on the clock.
The hosts doubled the advantage in the 66th minute after Rob Hanosek scored of a ricochet in the penalty area to add the insurance.
Lebanon Valley held a 4-3 advantage in corners and outshot the Red Devils 18-11 on the afternoon.
Junior goaltender John Baney (Ridgewood, N.J./Montclair Kimberly Academy) made eight saves in the nets for Dickinson.
The Red Devils slip to 2-1 on the season. They are on the road again on Wednesday, traveling to Messiah College for a 7:00 pm kick-off.
