LITITZ, Pa. - The Dickinson men's golf team braved the elements on Monday as they competed at the Franklin & Marshall College Spring Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club.
The Red and White had two separate teams compete in the event with the "A" team posting a 316 led which was good for fifth led by a five-over 76 by Brandon Wilson on the 6434-yard course. Two shots back was Colin McMahon-Shea who carded 78 to finish in a tie for 16th. Both Drew Stern and Tyler Tornoe headed to the 19th-hole with 81's, while Peter Lown came in at 88.
Dickinson's "B" team was one stroke back of their teammates finishing with 317 to take sixth paced by Will Giguere on 74 to tie for third. William McCann joined Wilson in the tie for ninth with a 76. Bo Concannon came in with an 83, followed by Will Carkhuff at 84. Jackson Guy rounded out the roster for Dickinson with a 91.
The host F&M led the pack with a 301 to win the team title, followed in the Top-10 by Stevens Institute of Technology (309), Stevenson University (314), F&M "B" (315), York Pa. (325), F&M "C" (326), Alvernia University (342), and Lebanon Valley College (344). Lebanon Valley College's Brandon Staniszewski won the event with an even-par 71 which tied with F&M's Shane Lawler but had a better score on the third-hardest handicap to break the tie.

The Red Devils will head to Hershey, Pennsylvania on Thursday to play in the rescheduled Elizabethtown University Spring Invitational at Hershey East Country Club. Tee times begin at 12 p.m.
