Men's Golf Starts Strong at Conference Championship

(HERSHEY, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team had strong start at the 2021 Centennial Conference Championships on Saturday at the Hershey Country Club East Course.

The Red Devils are currently third in the team standings with two players tied for third in the individual rankings.

Peter Lown (Portsmouth, N.H./Portsmouth) and Drew Stern (Yardley, Pa./St. Joseph's Prep) are tied for third with opening rounds of 77.

Will Giguere (Providence, R.I./The Wheeler School) and William McCann (Madison, N.J./Morristown-Beard) are 17th and 19th, respectively, with scores of 85 and 86. Schuyler Leff (Bethel, Maine/Gould Academy) is 25th with a 91.

Gettysburg leads the team scoring with 311 with Franklin & Marshall second at 314. The Red Devils combined for 325, holding off McDaniel by just a stroke with Muhlenberg and Ursinus coming in at 346 and 350.

Competition concludes tomorrow with opening tee times set for 12:00 pm.
