Field Hockey Has 23 Athletes Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad

BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The Dickinson field hockey team had a team record of 23 student-athletes named to the 2021 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad as announced by the organization.

The NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher during the first semester of the current academic year and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach. 

The Red Devil players to receive this accolade are Sierra Bobb, Vanessa Daniels, Kate Dombroski, Grace Donovan, Sydney Engler, Wyley Fitzpatrick, Bridget Fontaine, Amanda Fruman, Tara Hausker, Abby Hill, Ella Krenzer, Abby Marthins, Katie Marthins, Sammi Moonay, Olivia Renault, Jackie Smith, Philine Smits, Anna Snyder, Emma Snyder, Saige Stevens, Lucy Walrond, Hailey Womer, and Morgan Yandow-Harding

Dickinson had one of the best seasons in program history in 2021 advancing to the Centennial Conference championship game for the first time ever after knocking off the Ursinus College Bears in the semifinals. The Red and White will now look to build upon that success in 2022 and beyond.
