The Diplomats scored twice with the help of a single, double and a pair of wild pitches in the third to take a 2-1 lead.

The Red Devils flipped the score in the top of the fourth after Max Matilsky (Bernardsville, N.J./Morrisville-Beard) and Joey Volpe (Wall, N.J./St. Rose) tallied back-to-back singles and moved to second and third on a balk. They both scored on a single from Brian Reilly (Morganville, N.J./Marlboro) to put Dickinson back on top, 3-2.

The Diplomats put the first two runners on in the bottom of the fourth and pushed across four runs with a pair of two-RBI singles to pull in front, 6-2. They tacked on another in the seventh with a pair of singles and a sacrifice fly.
